Belmont Stakes contest wraps up Triple Crown competition
Contest Track: Belmont Park
The Triple Crown trail will not yield a Triple Crown winner in 2009 but it will produce some big winners here at TrackChampion.com.
Abacus destroyed the Preakness Stakes contest field here at TrackChampion.com just two weeks after Jersey Ray won the Kentucky Derby event.
Both were $100 winners of the top prize of BetUS.com racebook wagering accounts. (*If you have been instructed that this credit is ineligible for their racebook, please contact usa as we will chat with the customer service folks there).
Ten other horse handicappers won cash and racebook credit as well. And now, with a $500 contest bonus on the line courtesy of TurfnSport.com, we head for New York and the Belmont Stakes competition.
Can Calvin Borel become the first jockey in history to win all three Triple Crown races on more than one horse? After riding Mine That Bird to a brilliant upset in the Kentucky Derby, the jockey took of the Derby winner to ride Rachel Alexandra in the Preakness.
Now, he is back on the "Bird" looking to make history!
